1922
Ralph Büchner established an insurance office in Rochlitz, Saxony
1947
After the war, there is a re-launch in Dutenhofen, Hessen, under the name Büchner & Barella
1965
After the resigment of Gerhard Barella, first Manfred and later also Helmut Kenntemich join the company. Both become shareholders.
1983
BüchnerBarella moves the head office to Giessen where the company holding is based until today.
1984
Company founder Ralph Büchner leaves the operative business at the age of 84.
1989
BüchnerBarella continues to grow through takeovers, for example through the merger with HSA Simon during this year.
1991
Our new offices in Dresden are opened.
1993
The takeover of the insurance office Hans Kraft creates an additional new location in Ingolstadt.
1995
New location in Düsseldorf which is moved to Herne 6 years later.
1997
The takeover of the insurance broker Schirmer & Grundheber also creates a new location in Trier.
1999
Josef Holzinger, Stefan Kenntemich und Reinhard Prenzel become shareholders. They are managing the company until today.
2001
The office in Dresden is moved to Erfurt.
2006
A new branch office opens in St. Ingbert, Saarland, which belongs to the location Trier.
2010
More offices are opened in Leipzig and Koblenz.
2012
Merger of BüchnerBarella with INVERMA Group including GK Industrie-Versicherungs-Service Versicherungsmakler GmbH.
2013
The takeover of the GGR Group creates a new location in Hamburg.
2015
Another new location is opened in Bielefeld.
2016
The takeover of the Neukirch Group creates a new location in Saarbrücken.
2017
Another new location is opened in Köln.
2018
The takeover of the Thomae und Partner Group/Axon VMZ AG creates new locations in Freiburg, Mannheim and Traunstein.
